About Me
My name is Jatin Valabjee (aka Jay). Based in Sydney, I specialise in modern digital wedding photography (traditional and Indian), event photography (corporate and private), and concert and nightclub photography . Originally from South Africa, I moved to Sydney, Australia, more than twenty years ago, and immediately embraced the Aussie way of life. I developed a passion for mixing with people of all creeds and colours, a love of the outdoors and a burning desire to explore this great planet.
Over the past five years, I have become increasingly driven with a desire to capture all the beauty I see around me. People interacting and expressing themselves, scenery that is so perfect you barely dare to breathe, the bright colours and smiles that illuminate our world.
My passion has since developed into a career, photographing small and large weddings (both traditional and Indian), busy Sydney nightclubs and corporate events. I provide all of my clients with superior service, the best quality prints, and a personal touch that can only come with experience of the Aussie lifestyle and a complete understanding of your photographic needs.

About my style
I prefer not to interfere with the subject I am photographing, whether it be a just-married couple embracing, a CEO proposing a toast, or a crowd cheering for their favourite band or DJ. I find this candid style of photography helps to capture the essence of these moments.
About my photography
I only use the finest quality lenses and camera equipment to ensure the sharpest and most striking photographs possible. I primarily use a Canon Digital-SLR with top-of-the-range Canon L-series lenses and external flash, all of which give me great colour saturation and detail.
I am also available for freelance or commissioned party (private and corporate) and nightclub work. Please contact me for further information.
